I Wonder . . .

As the starry night gives a wink and a nod ~

I smile.

I wonder.

I wonder if there are a few same-kind-of-different people out there

like me

in the following modified story

I read long ago.

Listen . . .

Most people are like a man who was tolling along the road, bending with a heavy burden, when a wagon came nearby.  The Driver kindly offered to help him on his journey and the man joyfully accepted. But once in the wagon, he continued to bend under the weight of his burden, which he still kept on his shoulders.

“Why do you not lay your burdens down?” asked the kind hearted Driver. “

Oh!” replied the man, “It seemed almost too much for me to accept your gracious invitation to ride let alone to lay my burdens down as well. So I’ll keep on carrying them.”

And so it is with the person who dwaddles along the highway of life; the one who is weary and heavy laden and keeps a weight far too heavy to bear yet desires change.

As the saying goes, “People do not resist change; they resist being changed.”

“Ouch,” my soul speaks. I remember well when this was true for me. It has been my experience with many a people, for many a year, of all ages, nationalities, colors, creeds, and quirks, that they too, carry more than what would be considered a “normal, daily life load,” unable for many a reason, known or unknown, to release the burden bearing heavily upon them.

I wonder ~ Could it be that we are all the same-kind-of-different when we look at the heart of things: that each one of us resists being changed in our very own selves as the story above speaks?

So it is for you I write, Dear Reader ~ what has this story revealed to you about you?  Did it cause you to ponder  -- even if for a moment?

I extend an invitation to ride along with me and I with you, in this life’s present journey.   It will be a safe and protected, sacred place where you can lay your burdens down . . .

I write not for the one who is seeks perfection in their life nor mine.

I write not for the one who wants to quell the opportunity for change.

I write not for the ones who would want to dwell on my seemingly faulty writing skills and grammar.

I write not for the ones who excuse the learned experience of one who has gained wisdom and knowledge through a life lived, learned and loved through personal growth and deep personal study.

I write for the one who is weary and worn.

I write for the one who is confused and conflicted.

I write for the one who wants to see and hear my heart for them.

I write for the ones, like you Dear Reader, that sees beyond how man, the human race, measures one another.

I write for the ones who measure a person by their true motives, their heart, their soul and to love another for who they are now, and who they are yet to become.

I write for the one who desires something more.

I wonder ~ is this you, Friend?

You who are reading this at this very moment?

For you, right now, I wonder three things ~ just as I did myself long ago:

What if . . .

Imagine if . . .

Even if . . .

I write in remembrance of seeking, finding and passionately pursuing my own life journey’s; a place where I learned the Value of a “Spirit Of Wisdom“ as I heard the whisperings within, “Just Offer Yourself.”

Sometimes, most times, it’s a slow and sometimes painful process of building wisdom.

Sometimes, most times, we learn best in the classroom of life gaining the experience to grow and go.  Having found a New Story for myself, how could I not want to help others overcome and come out and be free?

For me, it’s not sometimes, but all the time, to build and offer hope through listening well so that in time, I may offer grounding opportunities to benefit and illuminate your well-being.

For me, it is an opportunity to speak well into a fearful or anxious heart; to strengthen the weak hands, to steady the feeble knees, to offer words of life that build and do not tear down, no matter the matter of this present life.

Stories are of great value and I am a ‘story’ kind of gal who would treasure hearing your story. Maybe you think your story doesn’t matter, but it does, even IF the present or ending seemingly appears gray and dim.

Get this:

“At any given moment, you have the power to say: this is not how the story is going to end.”

Picture it.

I have found this that the seemingly end of something has actually been the beginning of something freshly new and stirring in my life!  Perhaps, like me, you need a different perspective on how to look at something; that maybe the 'end' is different than you had anticipated or expected, but know this:  it is still filled with precious promises for what lies ahead.

Start over, Darlin.  Just as I have, many a many times. No matter the matter.  There is tremendous Value in the start!  More than you dare imagine!

Be brave enough . . . to begin.

Be bold enough . . . to believe.

Be . . . well, be YOU! The real you that you are right now and are yet to become.

For these reasons, I write to right some wrongs through a Series of Seven, “Untold Values” that is taking root now. Secrets are buried there, hidden in plain sight for those who have eyes to see and ears to hear.

Ready?

Let's START!  As the story speaks above, Come, your Chariot (wagon) awaits!  Choose to climb in and let’s RIIIIIDE together!

In BIG Love!  (Psst: BIG = Believe.  Imagine.  Grow!)

Dianne

(Psst 2: Now you know one of the acronyms for SowJoy as it's worded above!)
